What are ceramic braces?

What are invisible braces or Invisalign?

Invisalign is a technology where the patient is provided with a set of plastic transparent trays designed by the computer which has to be worn for a certain period of time and teeth move automatically. All though the teeth movement with these trays is a bit slow but one can maintain a good oral hygiene, the food will not get stuck in the braces neither there will be any ulceration in the mouth. What is the right age for starting an Ortho Treatment?
Once you complete the age of 14 and your permanent teeth have erupted in the oral cavity, it is the right time for you to start an ortho treatment.
Is there any treatment for children below the age of 14?
Yes of course as it is a growing age, there are bony modifications which can be done in this age in order to avoid any further surgical procedures in future. There are various appliances fabricated for various procedures according to the patients needs.
I can see gaps in front teeth of my kid who is nine years old. Does he need Ortho Treatment for it?
No not at all it is actually a normal condition and the gap will be closed automatically once other teeth erupt. It is called as ugly duckling stage and it appears in all children aged about 8 to 10 years, nothing to worry about it.
