The unit is mobile equipped by a medical grade computer and the CEREC camera. It connects as a digital picture that your Dentist uses to capture. This picture replaces a traditional impression. This implies that no impression tray and material is required for you to depend on. The computer and CEREC® 3D software transforms the digital picture to a three dimensional virtual model of your prepped tooth. Then, your dentist design your restoration straight on screen using the software. It assists in designing any single tooth restoration: crowns, inlays (fillings), onlays (partial crowns), and veneers.
Post restoration design is finished, next, he or she clicks a button and the complete design data is communicated via a wireless radio signal to the CEREC® Milling Unit.
