Complete Denture

A complete denture is a removable appliance fabricated for people who have lost all their teeth and are not interested in undergoing implant treatment. It is a removable prosthesis that needs to be removed at night time and placed in water every day. There are various kinds of materials and techniques available in complete dental dentures like BPS dentures, Unbreakable flexible dentures and many more. Removable Partial Denture

It is a dental denture treatment option advised for people having few missing teeth, made up of acrylic and can be fabricated within 2 to 3 days. It is a tissue-supported prosthesis it can also be used as an interim prosthesis until the final prosthesis is fabricated. It is a good treatment option within the economical range.

Flexible Dentures


With the latest developments in material science, gone are the days when there were very few hard materials available for fabricating dentures, the latest addition in this field is flexible dentures. The advantage of this material is its flexibility along with rigidity and strength which can be used very easily even in complex cases. The biggest advantage is there are no metal clips that are generally found in a regular RPD, it is highly cosmetic and specially used in distal extension cases where there is no possibility of placing the implant, one can go ahead with these flexible removable partial dentures.

Cast Partial Denture

A cast partial denture is a partial denture that is made of metal and acrylic. It is mainly advised when there are few missing teeth and the teeth which are present have good bony support. It takes approximately 10 days to fabricate a cast partial denture the main advantage when compared to a regular partial denture is that it gets support not only from the tissues but also from the teeth. Hence, the patient can apply more pressure while chewing its tooth and tissue-supported prosthesis.

Crown and Bridge (fixed partial denture)

A single Cap over a tooth is called a crown and more than one Crown is called a bridge. with teeth present on either side of the missing teeth one can fabricate a fixed partial denture or better known as a bridge by taking support of the adjacent teeth. Where a single Crown is used over root canal-treated teeth and a bridge is made to replace a missing tooth.

There are various materials for fabricating a crown or a bridge starting from full metal crowns to porcelain fused metal crowns to metal-free zirconia and full ceramic restorations.
