FAQ's
Are traditional braces better than invisible aligners?
Traditional braces use metal wires for the ideal position for the teeth. There is an advantage about orthodontic dental treatments, it is that that braces or invisible aligners work more than just straighten the teeth.
Is teeth removal part of invisalign?
It depends on the individual needs as the treatment may take 6 months for some patients. Braces must be worn 24/7 where Invisalign can be removed when you eat, drink and brush your teeth and re-inserted.
How long will Invisalign last?
The complete treatment of invisalign usually takes 12 months. It can also be shorter or longer time depending on how misaligned your teeth are and how long you leave your aligners in each day. It is recommended that, you should replace
your aligner tray for every two weeks throughout the treatment.
Which hurts more, braces or invisalign?
Generally, Invisalign hurts but it is less painful than traditional braces. In the orthodontic treatment, the pain continues to fade as teeth adjusts with the aligners.
Can you eat with invisalign?
No. You can drink water with your aligners in place but you should never eat with your Invisalign trays in your mouth! Even soft foods should not be eating while you are wearing Invisalign trays.
